Overview: As children of God, we should all strive to imitate Jesus and walk in His ways. The Holy Spirit will empower us to do so if we yield ourselves to Him. Unfortunately, we live in a world that labels people because of their culture, race and immoral lifestyle. However, God’s grace defies any condemnation and offers eternal life through His Son, for forgiveness and healing.

We must encourage unbelievers to come as they are to accept God’s free gift of salvation that can set them free. We will all have trials and tribulations as we continue to do the work of an evangelist. However, when life seems unbearable and it feels like we are about to hurtle over a rushing waterfall, we can expect for the One who is mightier than all and is above all, to see us through any troubles above anything we could imagine.

Remember, God promised to be with us through every season of our lives. As we reflect over our past life experiences, whether good or bad thoughts, let’s pray that God will reveal to us our purpose in the season that we’re in now. So, let’s be obedient and reach out to others in love so they can see the Jesus in us.

We must never allow ourselves to be entangled or labeled with past sins anymore. Instead, we must purpose to dress up daily with the character of Jesus and live godly lives. This will please our Father as we reflect His glory.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson   –  Mornings With Jesus

1 Samuel 1:19 says they rose early in the morning and worshiped the Lord.  Mornings are wonderful blessings, either cloudy or sunny.  It stands for hope, giving us another start of what we call life.  Mornings with Jesus is a double blessing.  It puts the world on hold and we wake up in the presence of Jesus who gladly takes our burdens and stress and restores them with the peace that surpasses understanding.

We can’t upload love.  We can’t download time and we can’t google all the answers in life.  But we can log in early in the morning and worship the Lord.

·       We can declare God’s lovingkindness in the morning and His faithfulness by night.  Psalm 92:2

·       We can give Him the morning star.  Revelation 2:28

·       We can see the glory of the Lord and He hears our prayers.  Exodus 16:7-8

·       We can, in the morning, hear the Word of God come to us. Ezekiel 12:8

·       He awakens us morning by morning with His Word.  He awakens our ears to listen as His disciples. Isaiah 50:4

Let us begin each day with a smile on our face and with happiness for our souls to embrace.  We are greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved.

Good Morning Jesus We Welcome This Day!
