Praise the Lord, since joining the 5 AM Ministry, my hunger for God’s word has increased exponentially with more devotion to Bible Study and Prayer.
The facilitators are wonderful and priceless and have led lively and daily discussions which have increased my spiritual growth and maturity.
I do believe the 5 AM ministry has drawn me closer to God and Jesus in a more personal relationship.
In addition, the 5 AM ministry has helped me to intercede on behalf of others who I know and many I don’t know, “for the prayers of the saints availeth much.” Amen

I love longevity! With growing up in foster care things weren’t always stable but God was always taught.
Min. Nadine Cager who teaches us with love and energy to take the “little stories” of the Daily Bread and strengthens our faith to develop perseverance to mature and complete us to prepare us to do Kingdom work no matter who you are and what you’ve come from.

I accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age of 12, but I definitely wasn’t living the Christian life as I should have.
But I thank God for the Blood of Jesus, His love mercy and grace and turning my life around saving my soul and bringing me to a closer walk with Him, at a time when I was sinking more and more in my sins of hard-headness and disobedience, wild life, men and partying, having no hope in this world, no life, no direction.
But I thank God for bringing my repentant heart into subjection to His will by using the Settles family in introducing me to this wonderful, loving and powerful praying group of saints in the 5am Bible Study Ministry.

First, I congratulate the 5 A.M. Bible Study Ministry on 32 Years of studying and teaching the word of God, and especially our Directors, Minister Nadine Cager and Sister Pansy Wells. They have done great works in the name of the Lord and both are beautiful individuals inside and out.
Since I have been a member of the 5 A.M. Bible Study Ministry, my relationship with Christ has grown tremendously more than I had ever believed prior to joining the Ministry. I now know so much about Him. He has protected me from the enemy in so many ways and times; especially while I was a Care Taker for my aunt Cora until she passed December 15, 2019.
He elevated me from the Intro class to now an Encourager and Teaching every week and also a member of the Intercessory Prayer Team. My favorite scripture is to trust him Proverbs 3:5-8 and Jeremiah 29:11.
God has blessed me tremendously in answering many of my prayers and most of all getting to know Him better and becoming more like Him, and much much more and I’m looking forward to many more growing days towards eternity. PROVERBS 3:5-8 PTL.
I love the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul. He has done great things, Bless His Holy name. AMEN!

I am a member of the Faith Worker Ministry at Woodstream Church in Mitchellville, MD. Elder Leon Swanson was the leader, and he asked me what I like to do? My answered was to study the word and passed it to others. Elder Swanson assigned me to 5 AM Bible Study Ministry.
This was a God send blessing for those bible materials that I received during my early years. This have cause me to be closer to Lord Jesus Christ with a mature mind by opening my eyes to the knowledges about our savior beyond mine means.
The Holy Spirit is guiding me, instructing me, and enlightens me to God’s love. He has that same love for all mankind to be saved. “Amen”

After attending the Rainbow Tea Luncheon sponsored by the 5 AM Bible Study Ministry in July 2016, it took another 18 months before I decided to commit to joining the ministry. It took that long because I knew I had to make some sacrifices to make it work; I’m in my fifth year of participation now and I have no regrets!
I was thirsty for something. Something more than I was getting at church, which was a lot (worship service, bible study, classes in Christian education). Maybe a different format, maybe a smaller group size, maybe a dynamic teacher. Something. After spending 4 months in the introductory class, I selected to join class 12. When Stella McLean and the students of class 12 joined the introductory class for a week, something clicked. Stella sounded like she was a teacher for teachers; you know, taught teachers how to teach! I wanted more of what she was gifted to offer.
Once in her class, I thought this lady is tough. She didn’t seem to be pleased with any of my entry scripture verses. But because I was thirsty, I didn’t back down or bark back. I tried harder and eventually go it. Stella’s wealth of experiences as a daughter, wife, mother, teacher and friend and how God has been intertwined in it all, brings a relatability to studying and gaining insight into the mysteries of this great Gospel. Along with Bobbie, Evelyn, Ruby, Tolani (Tolani and I moved from introduction to class 12 at the same time) & the Holy Spirit, we have a synergy that address my thirst (not quenched yet). That keeps me committed.
I am very, very grateful for the 5 AM Bible Study Ministry, its founders and leaders for the sacrifices made over the past 32 years which has afforded so many individuals the opportunity to fellowship with others while “Studying to show ourselves approved unto God … To God Be All The Glory”. Much Love.

I joined the 5 AM Ministry in 2013. A dear friend of mine, Sister Lillian Isler introduced me to the Ministry. We attended the same church, so one Sunday morning during one of our conversations, she told me about this Conference Call Prayer Line Ministry that she was a member of. My Prayer life wasn’t as active and consistent as I desired it to be, so I let her know that I was very interested in joining.
After giving me the specifics, “5 AM – 6 AM”, I said really, y’all get up that early every day and stay on the phone for one hour Praying? I was very impressed. I followed through, contacted Minister Nadine Cager, joined the Introductory class and from there was assigned to Class 2.
Initially it was challenging but Glory be to God, it became my wake up call and I am so thankful for joining because I am still reaping the benefits. The 5 AM Ministry has definitely contributed in deepening my relationship with God and in studying His Word. It has also strengthen my Prayer life, aided in growing my Faith, Trust and Dependency on God. Since joining the 5 AM Ministry, I have lost love ones that were very close and dear to me. The hurt was do deep and un-consolable, I didn’t know how I was going to pull through it. But Thanks to God, my family and my 5 AM family prayers, phone calls, cards, encouragement and love expression s I was able to persevere.
I am so thankful and grateful to Sister Lillian Isler for introducing me to the 5 AM Ministry and for the Holy Spirit leading me to join. The Ministry has truly been a Blessing, an Inspiration and Support in this Pilgrim’s journey.

The Cancer Support Ministry at my church, Saint Stephen Baptist, was getting ready for a Cancer Support Ministry Program. Sister Viola Freeman suggested Minister Nadine Cager’s be included as one of the speakers for the Program.
This was when I met Minister Cager. She was chosen to be one of the speakers for the program. The 5 AM Bible Study Ministry was preparing for one of its 5AM Bible Study Ministry Anniversaries at Andrew Air Force Base. I was invited by Sister Viola to attend the anniversary. I enjoyed the anniversary.
Afterwards, I talked about the 5 AM Bible Study Ministry often with Sister Viola. She invited me to join the 5 AM Bible Study Ministry. The rest is history.
This Ministry has been a blessing to me. I have also met some wonderful Christian friends!
