Overview: (Unity) We have heard the Christmas story many times how God sent Jesus as a gift to the world to bring light and life. Jesus demonstrated kindness and taught us the importance of speaking words of life to the wounded. Let’s pray that God will soften our hearts and teach us how to show constant kindness in a world where love has grown cold.

Keep in mind that we all have our differences, however, we are one body in Christ with the same common goal to come together in the bond of peace. Let’s not give place to the devil, instead, allow the Holy Spirit to beautifully unite us by the power of His love as we strive to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ in gentleness and patience.

In the midst of a world of chaos, we must continue to praise God with our words, songs, and lives. We are able to rejoice over God’s great power, His provision and care for us, therefore, we must  purpose in our hearts to surround others with the good news of the gospel.

There is no doubt that people are longing to be encouraged today. Remember, as others support us in our times of despair, we too must do likewise as we give the gift of hope to someone in need of a Savior.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson:

Walk in Peace and Unity

Christians, walk with others peacefully and glorify God above.

Try to keep the unity in the bond of peace and love.

Work for things of eternity, love and be kind to every family member

As we think of how God has set us free, the fruit of the Spirit our lives will render.

Let us love and live in harmony and follow our Lord’s lead.

As we walk in peace and unity, as we scatter God’s holy seed.

We are different, yet we are all the same.

We are made one by the power of His name.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.  Ps 133:1

Where there is unity there is always victory.
