Overview: We must be faithful servants to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We must trust God to give us strength when facing any oppositions, this gives honor and praise to God. It’s our reasonable service to offer ourselves, time, talents and treasures to God and others because God is the giver of every good and perfect gift. We must be thankful always for God’s extended grace toward us through Jesus Christ who forgave us of our sins and has become our salvation. Remember, the god of this age does not want us to shine the light of Jesus among unbelievers. However, we must be determined to rescue them regardless. In doing so, we must trust God and not be fearful. He will show us the way to the wounded and how to minister to them. One day we will receive a medal and hear Him say, “Well done”.

Scriptures:  Matthew 5:10-12; 2 Corinthians 4:12-18

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson –
Let us celebrate the birth of Christ by living out what He taught us. May God’s love fill our heart this Christmas season as we walk with Him.
Let us be faithful servants in the coming days by loving our neighbors as we would ourselves, feed the hungry, look after the sick, and be our brother’s and sister’s keeper.
Let us give the gift of ourselves to others so we can give back to God who gave us the Perfect Gift of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us share God’s gift of grace which is available to all whose hearts are broken and whose spirits are contrite. Grace is an undeserved free gift, filled with undeserved favor and undeserved love.
Let us not miss a day to share God’s Perfect Gift, Jesus Christ. He is the reason for the season.

For Christmas is a heavenly gift

That only God can give

It is just for the asking

For as long as we shall live
