Overview: All believers are saved by God’s grace. Faith that our names are written in the Book of Life, and the Lamb’s Book of Life are proof that we will see Jesus someday. Let’s rejoice and remind ourselves and others that salvation is by no other name than that of Jesus. When we falter in living the way God commanded us, let’s ask Him to make us clean and pure so that we can lovingly be able to help others when they fall into calamities. God is all knowing. He does not want us to be overly concerned about these troubling times.  Instead, let’s delight in Him, trust Him and wait patiently for Him to judge all matters.

Monday, November 30, 2015 – The Heavenly Manifest – Luke 10:17-24
Focus: We must be confident in our faith, that by God’s grace, we are saved. Our names are written in the Book of Life, and the Lambs book of life, therefore we can rejoice that someday we will see Jesus.
Scriptures: 1 John 5:11-12; Hebrews 12:23-29; Psalm 116:12-13

Tuesday, December 1, 2015 – The Meaning of a Name – Matthew 1:18-25
Focus: Names are given to babies based on various reasons; however, the name given to Jesus is above every name. Let’s praise the name of Jesus because salvation came by no other name.
Scriptures: Acts 4:12; Philippians 2:10-11

Wednesday, December 2, 2015 – Glass Beach – 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
Focus: If we feel that our lives have become a dump, ask Jesus to make us pure and clean. It may be grievous as the Potter lovingly makes and molds us.  However He can He produces a precious jewel.
Scriptures: Psalm 51:1, 10; Jeremiah 18:1-6; Hebrews 12:5-11

Thursday, December 3, 2015 – When Not to Rejoice – Ezekiel 25:1-7; Matthew 5:43-48
Focus: If a friend or enemy falls into a calamity, we must always show the love of Jesus by responding to their need in a godly manner. Never rejoice in anyone’s downfall.
Scriptures: Proverbs 24:17-29; Proverbs 17:5; Romans 12:17-21; 1 Samuel 24:1-22; 2 King 6:15-23

Friday, December 4, 2015 – Worry Free – Psalm 37:1-9
Focus: God doesn’t want us to worry about the troubles of today. Instead, let’s trust Him as we delight in Him, commit our ways to Him and stay calm by waiting patiently for Him to intervene in these worldly matters.
Scriptures: Psalm 73:1-28; Matthew 6:34

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson –

For These We Are Thankful

There are so many things to make life bright and gay.  Things that makes us sing songs of praise this glad Thanksgiving and every day.

Jesus is a gift of love that can’t be bought or sold.  It is ours just for the asking — it is worth far more than gold.

His name is above all names.  His mission is to save us from our sin.  And for this we will always be grateful and every day we will win.

So let’s take God’s gift of love. Just reach out and receive Him.  The only payment that God asks is just that we believe.

Let’s share God’s gift of love to those who want us to fall.  We have freedom from worry as we use every opportunity to do His call.

For these and many more we bring no price to pay — yet all these things are ours this glad Thanksgiving and every day.
