Overview: We must truly learn to silence ourselves and listen to others and to God in all circumstances . Life is full of disappointment because there are times when people are insensitive. However, Jesus is able to restore our shattered dreams and remind us of our eternal inheritance. Let’s thank God for the Spirit of Christ who is not only with us, but is in us. This relationship should cause us to praise God for His abundant blessings and steadfast love toward us. We must trust God to free us from ourselves when we are prideful because we can do nothing without Him. God is greater than our hearts and is able to flourish us in ministry work for His glory.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson –

Before we get busy with the hustle and bustle of the upcoming holidays, let’s take time to be holy and be silent and still as we listen to God and hear what He has to say.

Take time to be holy. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him. He will never disappoint us.

Take time to be holy. Thank God for His provision, the Spirit of Christ who is with us and in us. We are never alone.

Take time to be holy. Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. God’s love endures forever.

Take time to be holy. Trust God for He is greater than our hearts. God knows everything.

Let us turn the hustle and bustle of the holidays into the peaceful and blessed holy days and spend time to be holy.
