Overview: God knows the plans that He has for our lives. The small gifts that He gives us in times of distress will lift up our spirits. Let’s always be thankful to God for what He is doing. This attitude will help us to become more patient with others who are struggling through life. Let’s do all we can to help them overcome their weaknesses and not grow weary during stressful times. Keep in mind, we too, can easily fall prey to the wiles of the devil. However, by God’s grace, we are able to be merciful and are empowered to take the risk of spreading the love of God to those who are desperate for the touch of Jesus’ hand.
It is evident that we live among diverse people with various religions and other beliefs. Therefore, it’s imperative that we invest in learning more about their beliefs and perhaps, this will give us the opportunity to share our faith in Jesus Christ. When we encounter those who oppose the Truth, be reminded of Jesus’ examples when we are provoked. Pray for a heart of compassion, be gracious and slow to anger.
It’s the small gifts like that of a smile, a hand shake or a hug that God can use to usher in the greatest gift of salvation to those who are in distress, in unbelief and need the loving touch of Jesus’ hand.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson
P. U. S. H.
Pray Until Something Happens
When everything seems to go wrong
Just P.U.S.H.
When the job gets you down
Just P.U.S.H.
When people don’t react the way you think they should
Just P.U.S.H.
When your money looks funny and the bills are due
Just P.U.S.H.
When people just don’t understand you
Just P.U.S.H.
When all hope seems lost. Never, never give up.
Trust in God, and remember to P.U.S.H.
Prayer is asking our God who replies.
Prayer is knocking until Christ opens the door.
Prayer is believing in faith and nothing more.
Pray on it.
Pray over it.
But most of all, pray through it.
Just Pray Until Something Happens!
