Overview: Time is winding up for many people because God is calling them home. Though we may long to be there too, we need not worry because Jesus went to prepare a place for all believers. Let’s continue to serve the Lord and others as we share the good news that Jesus is coming back again. In our quest to serve, it’s important to come aside and appreciate nature.

Let’s give our attention to the Maker of beauty and allow this moment to captivate our souls as we praise God in all things. In these last and evil days, we must seek to follow Jesus with our whole hearts. In doing so, we will carry His aroma throughout this land by our words and deeds. Let’s pray that God will give the increase and perhaps others might be attracted by this sweet aroma and accept Jesus as their Savior.

Many times we may become frustrated with the uncertainties of this world, however, by faith, we can trust God to control every circumstance that we face and continue to allow Him to guide us through the journey. Let’s not forget, God has freely given to us and we must freely give of our time, talents and treasures to those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

This is part of our mission as we await the return of Christ.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson

He Lives!

We know that our Redeemer lives

What joy the blessed assurance gives

He lives, He lives, who once was dead.

He lives, our everlasting Savior.

He lives, to bless us with His love;

He lives to plead for us from above;

He lives our hungry souls to feed

He lives to help us in time of need.

He lives and grants us daily breath;

He lives and we shall conquer death;

He lives our mansion to prepare

He lives to bring us home safely there.

He lives all glory to His name;

He lives, our Savior, still the same.

What joy the blessed assurance gives

We know that our Redeemer lives
