Overview: God has given each of His children assignments to be a witness for Him. However, we must trust Him for grace to abound in every good work. Remaining faithful to Jesus may present its challenges but it is never wasted time. Hold fast to the profession of our faith and the promises of God to fulfill His purposes through us as we witness to His presence and power. When we become weary, we must be still and listen to the voice of the Lord speak to us like thunder and lightning.

We can be assured that the Holy Spirit will give us strength and peace in our weaknesses.  Keep in mind that, though we are saved through our faith in Jesus Christ, our spiritual formation is a lifelong journey. So, in our humanistic nature, if we find ourselves in a fleshly struggle, we must rely on the Holy Spirit to conform us more into the image of Jesus Christ. Consequently, God will be able to use us, even behind the scenes for His glory. Keep in mind as we praise Him that He will give us grace to abound in every good work and He will provide unseen heroes to help in the time of need.

The Covenant Names of God

Each of the Covenant Names of God not only reveals the nature of God to us, but also who God desires us to be because of who He is.  When we face life’s trials, run to the Almighty Son of God, know His names.  He has many names and be prepared for a shock in all to see miracles and changes in your life.

·       Our God is called Jehovah – He is the God who breathes air into life.

·       Our God is Jehovah Jireh – our Provider.  We lack nothing.  God is everything we need and everywhere we are.  Genesis 22:13

·       Our God is Shammah – our God is Present. He lives inside of us. Ezekiel 48:25

·       Our God is Jehovah Nissi – He is our Banner.  He comes to our defense against our enemy.  Exodus 17:15

·       Our God is Jehovah Shalom – the Lord is our Peace.  Judges 6:24

·       Our God is Jehovah Rapha – our Healer.  By your stripes we have been set free. Exodus 15:26

Let us praise the name of the Lord for His name alone is exalted, His glory is above the earth and heaven.  Lord, we worship you because of who you are, we give you glory.
