but how  much unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord.    Philemon 1:15-16

Overview: We sometimes do things that we shouldn’t just to appease the flesh. Let’s consider ourselves dead to the dictates of this world and set our hearts on things above. In doing so, the power of Christ’s grace will reflect through us even when we are persecuted for trying to live a godly life. Instead of becoming angry, we must embrace those who oppose Jesus Christ with love and mercy. We must never forget where God brought us from, no matter how important we think we are. To become self-centered is foolish and dangerous, therefore if we ever become rude and disrespectful to anyone, we must repent and ask God to forgive us and to change our hearts. We must keep in mind that Jesus came to help those who need a Savior. We cannot be partial and make a mental list of who we think are the so called “right” people. All are welcome who will accept Jesus Christ as Lord. In closing, we must align our lives with Jesus’ example of sacrificial love. Today, let’s reach out to someone who needs comforting and be a godly friend to them.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson – For the new members who have  joined the 5 A.M. Ministry, we are here to say to you… “WELCOME TO THE FAMILY OF GOD”.

We are glad that you have come to share your life with us.

May we learn to love each other more with each new day.

May words of grace and love be on our lips in everything we say.

May the Holy Spirit melt and change our heart and teach us how to pray.

May we always be to you what God would have us to be, a family that’s always there to be strong and to lean on.

There is a WARNING since you’ve joined us:  The 5 A.M. family is a circle of strength and love, founded on faith, joined by love and kept by God together forever.

There is a BLESSING since you’ve joined us:  You will have a place to call home.  You will have someone to love called family.  A family that prays together stays together.

Welcome to the 5 A.M. family for the glory of God.
