Overview: Give thanks to the Lord for all that He has done, is doing and will continue to do. Remember, the best is yet to come. Despite our failures, we must have faith and never give up, instead endure to the end and one day we will receive our rewards. God is doing a mighty work in each of us, let’s not be stubborn and think that we can’t be changed because of our set ways. Instead, allow the Holy Spirit to do the work in and through us that God has begun for His glory. Remember, we are not perfect and we do make mistakes. Let’s be open about our weaknesses and struggles to believers and unbelievers, this may cause them to also accept the gospel and appreciate God’s forgiveness in their own lives. When times get tough, remember to always put our trust in the Lord who oversees our lives and He will hear the cries of the righteous and will respond to our greatest need.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson …

 There’s Always a Rainbow After a Storm

The storm clouds are going to gather and some rainbows may fall

There might be some heart aches and there will always be some toil

But we hear Jesus saying today: “my people don’t be alarmed for there is always a rainbow after a storm”

When trouble surrounds you and your blessings seem few.

When it seems that all others are blessed more than you,

Please look up and praise Jesus because He really loves you and He will see you through.

On this occasion, our Rainbow Tea Luncheon, we come to celebrate and we are here to say “There’s Always a Rainbow After a Storm”.  So, my friends, relax and enjoy this occasion.  There is no reason to be alarmed. We are hear Jesus saying “5 A.M. Bible Study Ministry Family just lean on my arm because There’s  Always a Rainbow After a Storm.”  When you’re battered by life’s storms and you are filled with doubt and dismay, just remember God’s rainbow is coming and it’s only a prayer away.

Gracious Heavenly Father, the heavens declare your glory and the sky shows your handiwork, especially in  your rainbow. As we see the rainbow in the clouds, we are reminded of the covenant between you and every living creature on earth, for this we thank you.

Red is the color of redemption. We pray that every man, woman and child will have a saving knowledge of Jesus. Use us Father to witness for Jesus.

Yellow is the color of glory.  Please Father reveal your glory in and through us as we stand up for Jesus.

Green is the color of life.  Jesus you told us that you are the way the truth and the life, no man can come to the Father except through you.  Jesus open up the hearts of people to receive your love.

Blue is the color of revelation.  Thank you Father for the revelation of Jesus Christ and the powerful, amazing love He has given us.

Purple is the color of royalty.  Thank you Father for our identity. We are created in your image, a chosen generation, a royal people and members of the family of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Each time we see your glorious rainbow we will give you thanks for your mercy, love and faithfulness. Use us Father to be a rainbow in someone life.
