Overview: We must examine the reasons why we would not want Christ to return soon. Are we doing the work of an evangelist and telling everyone that Jesus brought life and immortality to light through the gospel and that they too can be saved. Oftentimes, we face many dangers in doing so that can scorch us and literally burn us. However, we can find refuge in our God. He is acquainted with our pain and persecution and He is able to speak peace in our situation as we trust Him through our struggles. Let’s be very careful what and who we listen to because the world wants to control our thoughts to misguide us. We must continue to be mission minded and pray that God will grant us grace to have the desire to study His word daily so that we can know His voice and obey His instructions for our lives before Jesus returns.
