Overview:  Let’s stay anchored in Jesus so that we don’t drift away from the things of God. He is our means to the Father, so we must take to heart what He teaches. As we study, our minds will be transformed and our old life should no longer dominate us. Instead, we will disconnect from old habits and yield more to the Holy Spirit to guide us and give us understanding to walk in the love of Christ. We will find ourselves serving others in Jesus’ name as we co laborer with God.  This will not only honor God but it will demonstrate how grateful we are that God so loved us that He sent Jesus, the Good Shepherd to die for our sins. He is the only one who can reunite us with the Father.  He cares about us and calls each of us by name, therefore, we too should show the same compassion to those who are in a place of desperation. Instead of giving them a textbook answer to their problems, let try hard to hear their heart’s cry, in doing so, they will believe that we really care.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson Let’s redeem the time this summer so we will not drift from God. To help us stay anchored, let us make a declaration.

The 5 A.M. Declaration

We are women and men of God redeemed by Jesus Christ.

We are loved, pursued, chosen and equipped with the words of life.

We are clothed in strength and dignity, and commissioned here and now.

We are gifted by the Holy Spirit and forgiven and unbound.

We stand redeemed and transformed in our declaration for the Lord.

God formed us, sin deformed us, and Jesus transformed us.

Let us fill our minds with God’s Word so we will not drift and make no room for Satan’s lies.

AnointedTransformed, and Redeemed
