Overview: Circumstances in life can sometimes break believers and unbelievers. We must look to Jesus to heal and make us whole. Jesus wants us to comfort others with the same comfort that we have been comforted with by telling our stories to family, friends and strangers. In these perilous times, we may face persecution and even death but remember the promise that God is with us as we continue to share the gospel. Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us to live with Him forever, which is far better, in the meantime, let’s continue to show the love of God and be merciful as we put the interest of others before our own. This is what really matters in life.  Whatever difficulties we may face, get closer to God and instead of worrying, pray and become a warrior. This is our new name and life in Christ as we await the day to hear Him say, “Well Done!”

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson

To God Be The Glory As We Tell Our Story

Let’s praise the Lord as we speak

Jesus is the Source of spiritual life and not a crutch for the weak

Never be ashamed of what you have been through, God will use your pain

For someone who is hurting, broken and struggling to bring them out of darkness into His gain

God is reigning over our story with wisdom, power and love.

Lord, give us the courage to let your glory shine in our story being written from above.

There will never be enough stories and enough songs and enough words to express the fullness of God’s glory.

Our story is God’s story; if we don’t share it God will not get the glory.
