Overview: Ask God to help us to guard our words because we can become snared by the words of our mouths. God is always at work in the Spirit realm to protect us from Satan. We must thank and praise Him for sending us out into this world to be a witness for Him. As we purpose to be faithful servants, we must trust the Holy Spirit to give us the tongue of the learned as we share the gospel with others unlike ourselves. They too need to hear the gospel. Remember, as we carry out the great commission, God’s Word and presence will remind us daily to keep His commandments. In obedience to His Word, we will be godly examples before those whom God will entrust in our care. Keep in mind that we must always rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us and help us to resist any false ways. In closing, as we continue our reading marathon of God’s Word, let’s praise, worship and learn from the Word of life so that we will be effective faithful servants of the Lord.

Scriptures: 2 Timothy 2:15
Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson – God loves to use ordinary people just like us, faults and all, to do extraordinary things. Ordinary people who faithfully, diligently and consistently do simple things that are right before God will bring forth extraordinary results.
You do not have to be special, but you have to be available. You don’t have to be clever; you must be willing to learn from Him. You don’t have to be talented, but you must be willing to obey whatever He commands. So let us remember that:
· One step must start each journey.
· One word must start a prayer.
· One hope will raise our spirit.
· One voice can speak with wisdom.
· One heart knows what is true.
· One life can make a difference
Our benediction, Ephesians 6:20, reads “all glory to God who is able, through His mighty power at work in us, to accomplish more than we ask or think”.
