Overview: God values each of us and He understands the pain we experience in life. He desire that those who are strong allow the hurting to get close enough that they too will know the comfort of God and be encouraged. He will hold up everything and everybody with the righteousness of His right hand. When we become spiritually bowed down, we must all learn to praise and call on Him. There may be times that it feels as if we are forgotten by God and others, however, we can be confident that in our darkest hour, we can rest in the knowledge that God loves us and will never leave us. Let’s allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us daily as we take joy in obeying God’s commandments. In doing so, this will help us to develop our relationship with Christ and live for Him. Stay on course, and don’t entertain temptation when it knocks on our door, instead, walk away from it.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson –
Touch Us, Lord Jesus
Lord, we want to be near you and feel your power divine.
Cleanse us precious Savior, and make us wholly thine.
Lord, we lift our eyes to see your power and love today.
Touch us as we follow the narrow path so your way and will be done as we obey.
Touch us again Lord, we need your strength especially in our darkest hour.
You said if we ask, we will surely receive your power divine.
Touch us again Lord, we want to walk the path of obedience so your will may be over our soul.
By your touch you are the only one who can make us whole.
Touch us Lord, one more time, with your spirit and love.
Touch us Lord, one more time, with your power from above.
For He healed many, so that as many as had affliction press about to touch Him.
