God knows the plans He has for our life, let’s yield ourselves to Him in difficult times. We must always pray and trust Him through the process. Let’s be mindful to conduct ourselves in a manner that will honor King Jesus. As we serve others, we will be sure to leave a lasting legacy. We must continue to allow the Holy Spirit to transform our minds so that we don’t give place to the flesh. Instead, purpose to stay in the race by doing what is right as we advance the Kingdom of God, striving to win our eternal prize. In order to be successful, we must spend quality time with God by reading His Word and praying for wisdom and understanding. In doing so, we will become more compassionate, humble leaders with a servant’s heart.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson – As time goes on, we reflect on the things we have said and done; places we have been; the people we have met; and what we did as fun. What legacy will you leave?

·       Will you be known as a prayer warrior – always pray and don’t give up?

·       Will you be known as a spiritual athlete  – trained to run in the Spirit of God to win the crown of life?

·       Will you be known as a diligent student of the Bible – studying the scriptures daily to know God and His wisdom?

·       Will you be known as a humble servant – to serve rather than to be served?

The last week of 2015, I challenged you to write your story on the 365 blank pages for 2016. Also, I gave you a theme verse for the New Year, 1Timothy 4:7 that tells you to discipline yourselves for the purpose of godliness.

At least 30 days in the 365 pages you have written. Can you answer the four questions in this week’s lesson on your legacy? Live, Love, Laugh, Leave a Legacy.
