November 2015 Focus – Love Never Fails
Week of November 1, 2015
SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK – And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2
Overview: It’s important to humble ourselves and accept words of wisdom from others and discernment of the Holy Spirit’s wisdom to be zealous in our efforts to be co-laborers with God. Regardless of how mundane our assignment appears; we must never allow our devotion to God to be diverted to the things of this world. When we become angry with God because of lies and misunderstandings of Him, let’s open our hearts to pray for grace to understand our specific assignments despite how inadequate we may feel and ask God (The Rock) for mercy to help us to trust His plan as we put our hand in His to finish the work He’s given us, well.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson – Time today seems to be a bit more difficult to manage. This is because of the development of new technology like Face Book. We use it to connect us to one another instead of talking and being there for each other. Don’t Face Book your problem, face them. Let’s daily be filled with God’s wisdom and spiritual understanding so that the joy and meaning of life will be part of our daily grind. Let’s cut off Face Book and read the Book of God’s Word so we can know Him. What better use of Face Book than to pray for each other and use it to connect with God’s Book. God’s Book is better than Face Book, use it.
