Overview:
Sunday – We have been appointed to do greater works. Pray to God for directions on how to be a care worker on the streets. Pray for grace and the anointing to join a street team to minister to the sick and lost.
Monday – This can be a very hostile environment. So, if we are persecuted for our faith, ask God to give us boldness and strength. Then, begin to walk like a warrior of Christ and don’t stop sharing the gospel.
Tuesday – The roads that we may have to travel may seem dark and uncertain. However, trust God to light our pathway as He guides us according to His plan.
Wednesday – Remember, when our faith is challenged, don’t give in to discouragement. Instead, trust the Holy Spirit to give us light and comfort in dark times.
Thursday – No weapon formed against us will prosper. We are healed by Jesus’ stripes. Therefore, if we encounter any wounds during our journey, give them to Jesus!
Friday – Nothing can separate us from God’s love. We have peace with Him through Jesus Christ. Let’s be the ambassadors that He’s called us to be by sharing the gospel with others, so they too, may be reconciled unto God.
***The English Standard Version (ESV) stands in the classic mainstream of English Bible translations over the past half-millennium. The fountainhead of that stream was William Tyndale’s New Testament of 1526; marking its course were the King James Version of 1611 (KJV), the English Revised Version of 1885 (RV), the American Standard Version of 1901 (ASV), and the Revised Standard Version of 1952 and 1971 (RSV). In that stream, faithfulness to the text and vigorous pursuit of accuracy were combined with simplicity, beauty, and dignity of expression. Our goal has been to carry forward this legacy for a new century.
To this end each word and phrase in the ESV has been carefully weighed against the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, to ensure the fullest accuracy and clarity and to avoid under-translating or overlooking any nuance of the original text. The words and phrases themselves grow out of the Tyndale-King James legacy, and most recently out of the RSV, with the 1971 RSV text providing the starting point for our work. Archaic language has been brought to current usage and significant corrections have been made in the translation of key texts. But throughout, our goal has been to retain the depth of meaning and enduring language that have made their indelible mark on the English-speaking world and have defined the life and doctrine of the church over the last four centuries.
The ESV is an “essentially literal” translation that seeks as far as possible to capture the precise wording of the original text and the personal style of each Bible writer. It seeks to be transparent to the original text, letting the reader see as directly as possible the structure and meaning of the original. More about the ESV translation philosophy….***

Inspirational Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson
Be a Warrior not a Worrier
Worrier: We all have worries and concerns. It is our human nature to worry about life’s events. Even though worrying is normal, it can overtake our life so much that we forget God. We forget that through His Strength, we are warriors and not worriers.
I want to remind you of God’s love for us through His Word. He is very clear with what He has to say about being a warrior. God tells us to pursue our enemies and overtake them and do not turn back until they are destroyed. He says don’t be anxious about anything and use the Word of God as our sword and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. If God is for us who can be against us. Suit up in the full armor of God.
Warrior: A warrior is that woman who gets up despite the enemy’s efforts to destroy; who believes she receives her miracles because she knows the Lord she serves is alive and powerful. As quoted by Joanne Clancy, “Be the kind of woman who, when her feet hit the floor each morning, the devil says: “Oh no she’s up!””
Remember this social media meme when going through…”Keep your head up God gives His hardest battle to His strongest soldiers.” To seal your warrior knowledge meme…remember, “When God’s warriors go down on their knees, the battle is not over, it has just begun.”
Warrior up by giving God all the glory and all of the praise! Amen!
“My friends, make time for God every day because He always has time for you.” — Sister Clovia
