Prophecy of Salvation
SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK
I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. — Numbers 24:17 (KJV) (ESV)

Overview/Theme:
Sunday – God is love and is faithful to love us unconditionally. Let’s not take His love for granted, instead, show His love to others today.
Monday – We belong to the Lord, therefore, our lives should always reflect the character of Jesus. Out of a thankful heart, allow the Holy Spirit to guide us so others will know that we are the children of God.
Tuesday – Never doubt God’s ability to transform our lives or situations. Let’s allow and expect Him to bring fresh light to bring us out of darkness as we seek to follow the ways of the Messiah. In doing so, God will give us strength for our daily journey to live for Him.
Wednesday –Though we are tempted by sin, always remember that sin does not have dominion over us. Jesus removed the barriers of sin between us and God. However, if we falter, repent and allow the Holy Spirit to grow us up in the things of God.
Thursday – God is faithful even when we are faithless. Let’s not waiver, instead, trust Him even when prayers are not answered on our timeline or according to our own desires.
Friday – Even though life may have started out on a minor note of mourning and hardships, God’s love is everlasting. At the end of our days, lessons are learned to be more loving and appreciative of Heavens love song as we give God thanks for loving us first.

***The English Standard Version (ESV) stands in the classic mainstream of English Bible translations over the past half-millennium. The fountainhead of that stream was William Tyndale’s New Testament of 1526; marking its course were the King James Version of 1611 (KJV), the English Revised Version of 1885 (RV), the American Standard Version of 1901 (ASV), and the Revised Standard Version of 1952 and 1971 (RSV). In that stream, faithfulness to the text and vigorous pursuit of accuracy were combined with simplicity, beauty, and dignity of expression. Our goal has been to carry forward this legacy for a new century.
To this end each word and phrase in the ESV has been carefully weighed against the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, to ensure the fullest accuracy and clarity and to avoid under-translating or overlooking any nuance of the original text. The words and phrases themselves grow out of the Tyndale-King James legacy, and most recently out of the RSV, with the 1971 RSV text providing the starting point for our work. Archaic language has been brought to current usage and significant corrections have been made in the translation of key texts. But throughout, our goal has been to retain the depth of meaning and enduring language that have made their indelible mark on the English-speaking world and have defined the life and doctrine of the church over the last four centuries.
The ESV is an “essentially literal” translation that seeks as far as possible to capture the precise wording of the original text and the personal style of each Bible writer. It seeks to be transparent to the original text, letting the reader see as directly as possible the structure and meaning of the original. More about the ESV translation philosophy….***

Inspirational Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson
God Is Always Faithful
There is no secret what Jesus did for us this year. Life is not fair, but God is always faithful. That’s no secret but an amazing promise.
What seems difficult did not defeat us, it made us stronger. When the storm was over we were wiser. We came out of it singing, “It is no secret what Jesus can do.” Let’s thank God for every trial, every set back, and every difficulty we went through this year.
God is always faithful to answer. Sometimes His answer is a much desired “yes”. Sometimes His answer is a merciful “no”. Sometimes His answer is a faith-building “not yet”. Sometimes when an answer cannot be found, His answer is “trust Me”.
The same faithful God who brought us this far will bring us much further yet. It is no secret what Jesus did and will do for us. God will be faithful in all things, in all times, and in all ways. So let us hold unwavering to the hope we confess for he who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23) That’s no secret!
“My friends, make time for God every day so He will have time for you.”— Sister Clovia
