Overview/Theme:
Sunday –The harvest is great but the laborers are few! Don’t stop building up the Kingdom of God, He’s watching us.
Monday – We are a diverse people with different views about God. However, God may be calling you to a hard conversation with someone who is about to ruin themselves or someone else. Be sure that your feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
Tuesday –While sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, we will face much opposition. If we are concerned about being on the wrong side of a particular situation, let God work out His plan in our crisis. Things will work out for the good to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Wednesday –Pray for everyone that God places on your hearts today. This hidden ministry of intercessory prayer will not only bear fruit but it will also glorify God. Keep in mind, some plant, some water but God gives the increase.
Thursday –We all are needy, however, during this season of giving, let’s be sure that whatever we give, whether our time, talents or treasure, let’s give with a willing heart. This could be the game changer in the lives of some people.
Friday –In all of our ministry work, there are times that we may feel abandoned. We can be confident that God cares and He watches over you just like a mother who loves and protects her child.
Saturday–
***The English Standard Version (ESV) stands in the classic mainstream of English Bible translations over the past half-millennium. The fountainhead of that stream was William Tyndale’s New Testament of 1526; marking its course were the King James Version of 1611 (KJV), the English Revised Version of 1885 (RV), the American Standard Version of 1901 (ASV), and the Revised Standard Version of 1952 and 1971 (RSV). In that stream, faithfulness to the text and vigorous pursuit of accuracy were combined with simplicity, beauty, and dignity of expression. Our goal has been to carry forward this legacy for a new century.
To this end each word and phrase in the ESV has been carefully weighed against the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, to ensure the fullest accuracy and clarity and to avoid under-translating or overlooking any nuance of the original text. The words and phrases themselves grow out of the Tyndale-King James legacy, and most recently out of the RSV, with the 1971 RSV text providing the starting point for our work. Archaic language has been brought to current usage and significant corrections have been made in the translation of key texts. But throughout, our goal has been to retain the depth of meaning and enduring language that have made their indelible mark on the English-speaking world and have defined the life and doctrine of the church over the last four centuries.
The ESV is an “essentially literal” translation that seeks as far as possible to capture the precise wording of the original text and the personal style of each Bible writer. It seeks to be transparent to the original text, letting the reader see as directly as possible the structure and meaning of the original. More about the ESV translation philosophy….***

Inspirational Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson
2018 Election
The election is not over but we can still guarantee these results:
- God will still be on the throne.
- Jesus will still be King of kings and Lord of lords.
- The Bible will still have all the answers to every problem.
- The tomb will still be empty.
- Jesus will still be the only way to heaven.
- Prayer will still work, it will still make a difference and God will still answer prayer.
- The cross, not the government, will be our salvation.
- There will still be room at the cross.
- Jesus will still save anyone who places their faith and trust in Him.
- God will still be with us always. He will never leave us or forsake us.
“My friends, make time for God every day so He will have time for you.”— Sister Clovia
