Overview: There was nothing that we could contribute to God’s salvation plan. He gave the ultimate gift of gifts — His only begotten Son. Therefore, we are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus! We must purpose to give people a glimpse of this free gift of life by sharing the gospel. If they drink of this living water, they will never thirst again. However, this doesn’t mean that Christians will have a bed of ease.

There are times when things don’t go according to plan and this can bring on anxieties. The Bible tells us to cast all of our cares on the Lord and He will sustain us and give us His peace. As we continue to do Kingdom work, we must never think that it’s us, instead, give God the glory for choosing us to be His workmanship as He purpose to do what is well pleasing in His sight.

Regardless of our limitations, whether it’s age or other hindering factors, we must not grow weary in doing well because we will reap a harvest. Remember, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Our primary focus throughout our life of witnessing should be to tell others that Jesus brought salvation and forgiveness to fallen mankind. With grateful hearts, let’s share the truth about Jesus with those who are oppressed, perhaps, they to may long to know Him. HE is more than a hero and those who will receive the truth will be set free.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson   – Jesus Is The Gift

Jesus is the Gift that perfectly fits every heart,

And it is with His love that all celebrations start.

We rejoice in Him as we remember His birth

And thank God for sending His only Son to earth.

His life led from a manger to a cross on a hill,

Where He faithfully followed His Father’s perfect will.

He freely laid down everything so that we could freely live,

And there is no greater treasure than anyone could give.

Like a beautiful gift, it is love wrapped around the cross,

And He offered it to us at the greatest cost.

So each time that we give gifts, remember what He has done,

And honor the Perfect Gift – God’s One and Only Begotten Son!
