Overview: We must not put our trust in things that will eventually let us down. Instead trust in the Lord with expectation even when it seems that we are marking time. God will give us strength and directions for each day. Times when we become afraid, pray and remember that Jesus is our light and our salvation. He’s aware of our struggles and He’s there to help us. We must be obedient to God when He speaks and assigns us to various duties. If we have dodged God and allowed ourselves to become busy with others things, we must repent and complete the task that God has assigned us. There’s always work to be done by the human race, however, there are times that we must tune out and rest.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson – It is time for us, as the Christian army, to rise and march in formation for the Lord. The problem in America today is not guns. It is hearts without God, homes without prayer, and courts without justice.
Our Commander-in-Chief has marked out our course and given us the battle plan. We must trust Him as He raises us up to stand firm on the battlefield. As Christian soldiers we are marking time, ready for battle, waiting on God’s instructions, by actively seeking His strength and direction each day.
Onward Christian soldiers marching to war – war against our nation, war against our faith and war against our families. It is time to rise and fight! With the cross of Jesus going before us and our Commander-in-Chief leading us, God has given us His battle plan for victory. Let us take time each day to tune out the tactical distractions, put away the tense restlessness and reflect in gratitude on the wonder of God’s love and faithfulness.
Keep marching in time, stay in formation, trust God’s plan, and put on the armor of God each day as we stand on the battlefield for the Lord.
