Overview: Even though none of us deserved salvation, God who is rich in mercy chose us. We should always give Him thanks for our Redeemer for giving us favor and placing us under His protective wings. However, Jesus warned us that in this world we will have trials and tribulations and that we are not exempt from this fallen world system. Remember, we have Jesus as our pilot to take us through the storms of life safely and nothing will be lost. Coming out of a hard, dead winter experience where we may have suffered pain can be very difficult but let’s rejoice that God always prepare us for the wonders of spring. This transformation will cause us to wake up and blossom for the Lord as we take up our cross and follow Him daily. We, who are His sheep, must return to our Chief Shepherd if we have strayed away and He is faithful to protect us and lead us into green pastures to restore our souls. Let’s not lose sight of our mission to be a witness for the Lord, especially to those who oppose the gospel. There may be many hardships to face but remember, we are ambassadors of God’s love and we are to pursue peace with all men.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson –
The Blessings of Spring
There are many blessings that each new spring bring
We can see it bloom about and hear the song it sings.
The blessings of spring is rooted in God’s undeserved love
He sent Jesus to plant the Holy Seed from above.
With winter’s bleakness over and brighter sunny days ahead
Comes God’s promises of new life and new beginning that this season loves to spread.
He melts our worries and sends His peace as a refreshing rain
Sprinkling us to heal our winter’s pain.
God has given to us our Redeemer, His Son, to shed upon us a new light
And the real blessing of spring is keeping Jesus in our garden and in our sight.
