Overview: We must not be conformed to the social media’s influence of this world, instead, set our minds and actions on the things of God. Let’s study the word of God and remain teachable because someone else may be able to connect the dots when we’re  in doubt. This perhaps will give us a clearer understanding of God’s plan of salvation and how we must strive to live a godly life. There may be times when God will allow us to go through some fiery trials to grow us up spiritually, however, during this time, we must trust Him to strengthen us to endure these difficult times as we wait for His purposes to be accomplished in and through us. In the meantime, the gates into the presence of God are always open. Let’s enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise as we worship Him for His unfailing love toward us. It’s in that place that we can be strengthened to speak words of life to ourselves and then to others who are struggling. God is faithful to offer hope and light as we point them to Christ.

Thoughts from Sister Clovia Thompson – God has a purpose for every trial that comes into our lives.  Nothing happens to us without God’s approval or purpose.  God has the power to work things out for our good.  Regardless of the circumstances we are facing, God can make all things work for our good and to our benefit.  God’s perspective is not the same as ours.  He sees the purpose and outcome of our fiery trials.  All we see is the pain and problems.  God sees the future while all we see is the present.  God promises His presence in the time of fiery trials.  God will never leave us or forsake us.

Trials may come and we may not understand everything thing that happens to us and around us.  But if we humbly patiently trust the Lord, He will give us guidance and strength in every challenge we face.  When our only desire is to please Him, we will be blessed with a deep inner peace.  Even when we cannot connect the dots in our trials, God can for He is the source of the light we see.

Let’s place our hope in God in spite of the storm, in spite of the rejection, and in spite of the trial.  Believe that God can bring you to a brighter tomorrow.  Let us learn to be thankful in our fiery trials because in order to get your breakthrough you need a trial to break through.

Fiery trials make golden Christians.
